MaPS, Inc. recently deployed a Tri-County GIS dataset, comprised of the GIS datasets we developed separately over the last decade for Powell, Granite and Anaconda-Deer Lodge Counties in western Montana.  The PSAPs in Deer Lodge, Philipsburg and Anaconda were each upgraded with Bullberry’s Insight dispatch display software and MaPS, Inc. loaded a fully-integrated file geodatabase of all three County’s data. 

The Tri-County GIS data covers almost 4,900 square miles and contains 2 cities, 2 towns and 11 unincorporated communities.  The Tri-County GIS data is comprised of over 3,550 miles of road centerlines (over 11,000 road arcs), over 13,200 structures and linked digital photographs and over 2,500 MSAG records housed with two different E-911 database providers - Qwest/Intrado (Powell and ADLC) and CenturyLink (Granite).  Each County’s E-911 System is currently being managed/maintained independently by MaPS, Inc. via Intrado’s web-based 9-1-1Net interface and CenturyLink’s WebDBMS interface.

MaPS, Inc. is providing ongoing addressing assignment for new construction in Powell and Granite Counties and the Anaconda-Deer Lodge Co. Building Inspector is assigning their new addresses using the GIS data and custom tools developed by MaPS, Inc.  MaPS, Inc. is providing ongoing road and structure GPS mapping and integration, including ongoing E-911 maintenance services (e.g. annual ALI audits, monthly service order activity report processing, ESZ maintenance and ongoing MSAG adds/deletes/changes).  In the Powell County Sheriff’s Office and the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Police Dept., MaPS, Inc. also recently installed ArcReader software and GIS data using ArcPublisher on over 30 computers and provided training to officials, deputies and officers so they can utilize the GIS data in their daily work.  Ongoing data updates are managed with remote access software links to local computers and servers.  MaPS, Inc. is also providing ongoing 9-1-1 and GIS consulting/technical support to each County.
