Mapping and Planning Specialists, Inc. (MaPS, Inc.) was organized as a sole proprietorship in April 2000 to assist several Counties in Montana to complete their unfinished mapping and E-911 implementations.  MaPS, Inc. quickly developed a reputation for responsive, reliable and accurate map development and an open and honest approach to cultivating long-term client relationships.  Word of mouth from satisfied clients, not direct advertising, assisted MaPS, Inc. to acquire a wealth of new work and to successfully become a premiere provider of professional E-911 and GPS/GIS consulting and implementation services.  As a consequence of that growth and success, MaPS, Inc. was incorporated in January 2002 and moved into our current corporate office in April 2004.  In August 2004, we opened a field office in Helena, MT to better accommodate our clients.  MaPS, Inc. specializes in:
